Papa Bob and Dada built Gabe a new outdoor playhouse (thank god it doesn't go in my living room). He loves hanging out on his 'front porch' and playing house. So fun!

Water Baby

Since I practically grew up in a swimming pool (seriously, my heart starts beating faster and my adrenaline kicks in every time I smell chlorine bleach- can't kick that competitive spirit) you can imagine my delight that Gabe loves to take a bath. He can spend nearly an hour in there happily entertaining himself. Here are some of his recent bathtime photos.

After a morning of playing with buddies Glen and Maddox, Gabe was way past due for a nap. Needless to say, he woke up hungry!

Kid Tested....

Kix are Gabe's favorite cereal. These photos were taken after I made a delicious dinner, that included all four food groups, which Gabe refused to eat. After fighting with him to eat, I finally gave up, let him down, and went to do dishes. I then heard a rustling in the Living Room and found Gabe, who had gone to the pantry, snagged the box of cereal and started munching down. Needless to say, he was very pleased with himself.

A Day at the Zoo

A year ago....

Sometimes I can't resist going through my old photos. This was one of my favorites from last April. If I could fit Gabe in the bouncy now, you'd have a comparison, but he wanted nothing of that! Of course, Gabe is fully mobile now, so we can hardly keep up with him. Since he got his new kicks from Nana and Papa a few weeks ago he has been climbing mountains (OK, maybe just our sloped driveway). But the grin on his face makes it looks like he just hiked Mount Everest.

Mmmmm...Yogurt

Is there anything funnier than a kid learning to eat? Unfortunately, cleaning yogurt off of the floor, window, lampshade, etc. is not so fun. Thank goodness summer is coming, at least I can hose off the deck. It's not so easy to hose off the carpet.
