Pump, Pump, Pump-It-Up

For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of attending a birthday party at Pump-It-Up in Beaverton, I highly recommend it. Although Gabe is a little young, he had a great time at this indoor inflatable playground. He bounced, ran, and slid his little heart out, with Chris and I chasing him the whole time, of course. Fortunately, this wore all of us out enough that we all got a 3 hour "family nap." Gotta love it.

Happy 4th of July

The year we spent the 4th with Nana and Papa Flores in Bend, OR. Unfortunately, Chris had to work and Auntie Urbanie was in Vegas, but it was still a houseful. Gabe loved the attention of both sets of Grandparents doting over him all weekend. Also, Uncle Travis, Uncle Ryan and his lady, Lauren, were there. Sadly, both uncles now (Ryan) live in, or will (Travis) live in Bend in the very near future. I guess that just gives us more reason to visit often! Enjoy the photos of our holiday.

Blowing Kisses

It's amazing how Gabe can learn a behavior based on the responses he receives. About 2 months age we taught Gabe how to blow kisses when saying goodbye. This was to replace the actual kisses he would give to everyone, including the check-out girl at Babies-R-Us.
Apparently, Gabe liked the response people gave to these blown kisses, that he gives them out ALL THE TIME. When we are passing out old ladies sitting on a bench. Kisses. When we are going for a walk. Kisses. He even blows kisses to cars driving down the street. Adorable, right?
