Gabe's Birthday Festivities

Gabe's Birthday started with an lunch outing with Uncle Ryan and Lauren. They had a fun trip to the pet store (more on that later). Followed by a nutritious lunch at McDonald's. Really, I think that he just wanted the toy.



There was a Birthday celebration at Daycare with cupcakes and friends. Mmm...french fries and cupcakes, must be heaven for a 3 year old.




Hold on Alex...Just 6 more weeks, and you can have cake too!

The week ended with a Birthday Party on Saturday at the Children's Museum with 13 of Gabe's closest buddies. There was pizza, cake, and play, play, play! For anyone who has never hosted a birthday party at the Children's museum, I highly recommend it! They have tons of activities on-hand and even do the clean-up!

Winter Wonderland

Just when we thought we weren't going to get any December snow...It came. Gabe and Chris had a fun time, bundled up in jackets, hats, gloves and boots. Alex and I stayed inside, keeping warm by the fire.

Christmas Lights

Chris did a beautiful job putting up Christmas lights this year. My favorite part, driving home and Gabe shouting "Look, that's my house. It's gorgeous."

Santa, Take #2

Santa also visited the Daycare this year and handed out gifts to all the good little girls and boys. And Gabe made the list, Shocker!

Santa, Take #1

How lucky we are to live in Forest Grove! (Okay, that may be the first time that I have ever said that).
But truly, we have a wonderful man who sets up 'Santa' shop in his front yard the entire week before Christmas.
He welcomes donations to the Leukemia Society, and because there is never a line, your children can spend as much time as they need telling Santa what they want. Gabe was thrilled to finally meet this Santa guy, Alex was...curious. At least he didn't pull the beard.


Oh, and the best part, this guy isn't even on the sex offender registry. Yeah, I checked his address, what a sad world we live in.

O Christmas Tree

We again treked out to Parry's U-Cut to get our tree this year. I can't decide what was easier: A nearly 2 year old and being 7 months pregnant like last year, or a nearly 3 year old and 9 month old like this year.
Honestly, neither is a picnic, that's why our Christmas Tree Farm, is really just the guy down the road. Here we all are picking out this year's tree. Too bad I didn't have the foresight to take a photo of the decorated tree. you'll just have to trust me that it was beautiful!

Catching Up

I know that it's time to update the Blog when I get a text message from Papa.
So here is my attempt at catching you all up on a VERY busy 6 weeks. No only did we have Christmas, but we also had Gabe's 3rd birthday.
I really wish I could keep up with the blog and photos, but really, these days we're all lucky to have clean underwear!
